The Day i Was Late

Light slowly crept up through the sills of the window indicating that the day had begun.. Beckoning the first wake of dread as tax payers like me drag ourselves to the feet to enter into the mundane realm of reality… Like pieces of a nightmare, our workload comes to us reminding of what is in store for us today.. I suddenly remembered all the people i was gonna meet today, all midless chit chat and fake smiles where beneath lies the utmost urge to scream back in despair… But alas it had to be done.. There was no way around it.. No more urgent leave to call to, no sudden mc’s to fall back on.. This was it, the real deal, the real prison…

Beads of hot steaming water from the shower forced to wake up the sleeping soul in me..Glancing at the clock only then made me realise that i was going to be late which only meant that i had to work longer to make up for lost time.. No chance in hell that was gonna happen.. Thus i had to do the undone… i had miss many a routine to make up for the few minutes that was gaining fast on me…

Pitter patter my steps went as i walked as fast as the first contestant of a walkthon could bring himself to walk…Through the morning crowd of gloomy faces and really unpleasant breaths, i heaved thru my way to the train. 25 mins ticked by as i reached the my destination and the walkthon began again to the bus stop this time.. The old guy looked at me again today.. Mayb i look really bad due to the skipped makeup steps today.. There was no time today to ponder on that…

The bus was as usual keeping me waiting for its royal presence… Anticipation swept thru me.. i had three mins on the clock and i was gonna be late for sure…When finally the bus made a lavish appearance, people being people horded on the  bus leaving me trying helplessly to squeeze myself into the smallest possible nook.. Finally the moment i arrived, i checked my watch and it was 7:40…

10mins isn’t too late right…

De Intellectual One is a person of great patience.. But patience can only last long enough…. Jus once i would like someone who promises me to do something actually have the decency to do as they promised…What didn’t u have a brain before making the promise or what? Or you just turned plain stupid?? Damn it ppl….. Im so frustrated.. the more i think of it the angrier i get!!

Heres a suggestion next time dun say it if u cant do it…. Just pls have the decent courtesy to update me…. Keep me waiting like a fool and then disappoint me…. Assholes….

I tell u ah, once i met this guy who ya ya told me he was a very sensitive guy won’t leave u hanging, will always b there for you….And that is the exact moron that never called me back… Feel like slapping him right… Leave msg also never reply…. So for once ok if u make a promise pls stand up to it at once.. If you rather not do whatever u promise just tell me straightforward… Granted i will be angry but at least i know rather then u just ignore and let me hate u for the rest of your life….

How does one define pleasant? Is it to be in the company of your loved ones? or is it to be encovered in the warmth of familarity? Or is when u are in peace within urself? Back to the topic of pleasant evening, i read an article this morning abot this writer who while having an quiet evening in the presence of her fav coffeeshop noticed a middle aged couple and an older woman at another table…. While the two woman was scorning at each other, the man looked helpless as he was sandwhiched between what was thought to be his mother and wife..

Here the writer goes on saying how we should look past all the ugliness and realise the importance of being at that vey moment and have a pleasant evening while at it. while i cant agree more, i do however feel like sometimes we have to let the ugliness out just to realise what a monster we were and make a change for the better…. Between us and our parents i feel that sometimes we need to hate them so much in order to realise what they mean to us… its like going through that teen phase where u say things like ‘i hate u’ *slams door*… it’s only now i realise what a weird phase that was…

What im trying to say is that its only when we make mistakes that ppl realise what kind of person we are cause whether we amend the mistakes, take it for granted or keep on repeating the mistakes that personifies who u are….

So making mistakes are ok… As long as u learn from it…. And do justice by it….

So pleasant evening  for me would be with a great mystery book in the most comfortable cafe or restaurant in the most bustling of streets with a great strong cup of teh tarik…… Ahhhhh… Nows that life……..!!!! What can i say im a simple girl*cheeky grin*

”If you look closer, you might see someone like you. Someone trying to find their way. Someone trying to find their place. Someone trying to find their self. Sometimes it seems like you are the only one in the world who’s struggling, who’s frustrated, unsatisfied, barely getting by. But that feeling’s a lie. And if you just hold on, just find the courage to face it all for another day, someone or something will find you and make it all okay. Because we all need a little help sometimes-someone to helps us hear the music in their world, to remind us that it won’t always be this way. That someone is out there. And that someone will find you.
